\n経歴：\nDeanna Lee was born in Carmel\, New York\, to parents who emigrated from China and Taiwan\, and she was raised in suburban Boston. After many years of classical music training on several instruments\, she received degrees in art from Oberlin College and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago\, and she studied at the Rome campus of the Tyler School of Art. \nShe has had solo exhibitions at Robert Henry Contemporary\, Wave Hill\, and PS122 in New York City; Earlville Opera House\, New York; and Artemisia Gallery\, Chicago. Her work has appeared in group shows at numerous venues\, including: The Drawing Center\, Abrons Art Center\, NURTUREart\, Trestle Projects\, Pace University\, and Schema Projects in New York City; Aron Packer Gallery\, Hyde Park Art Center\, and Jan Cicero Gallery in Chicago; SPACES in Cleveland; Maloney Gallery\, Morristown\, New Jersey; and George Mason University\, Fairfax\, Virginia. \nDeanna’s public art works include a 700-foot-long mural on bicycle path barriers in Flushing\, Queens\, commissioned by the NYC Department of Transportation; a custom design for tree guards in the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill neighborhoods of Brooklyn; and a site-specific drawing installation for a storefront window in Bay Ridge\, Brooklyn. \nShe has received a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant\, a travel grant from the Asia Society in New York\, the BRIC Media Fellowship in Brooklyn\, the Manhattan Graphics Center Scholarship\, the Linda Kramer Fellowship in Chicago\, and two grants from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. She was a 2010 recipient of a Abbey Mural Fellowship from the National Academy. In 2004\, she was an artist-in-residence at the Millay Colony for the Arts\, and she was a 2012 artist-in-residence at Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. In August 2017\, she will be an artist-in-residence at Kingsbrae Gardens in New Brunswick\, Canada. \nDeanna lives and works in Brooklyn\, New York.

SUMMARY:Fundamentals of Kabbalah
DESCRIPTION:THE KABBALAH CAMPUS\nNEW FUNDAMENTALS SEMESTER BEGINS SPRING 2017\nThe Fundamentals Semester course introduces students to the Fundamentals of Kabbalah using key Kabbalistic articles to lay the foundation of basic concepts in Kabbalah. It describes the method to rise from our world to spirituality. \nKabbalah is a very practical study – why do we act the way we do? Why is the world experiencing so many crises today? \nAs the course progresses\, you are led into a very personal journey of discovery as you examine your response to the writings of the greatest Kabbalists of our time. \nClass Schedule:\n10 weeks\, every Monday\n7:30 pm – 9:30 pm \n\nLesson 1 – The Essence of the Wisdom of Kabbalah\nLesson 2 – The Spiritual Perception Of Reality\nLesson 3 – The Importance of Kabbalah Books with an Emphasis on the Reforming Light\nLesson 4 – From the Love of Others to the Love of the Creator\nLesson 5 – The Environment and Free Will\nLesson 6 – Connecting the Points and the Kabbalistic Meal\nLesson 7 – The Soul of Adam and the Shattering of the Soul\nLesson 8 – There is None Else Besides Him\nLesson 9 – Internality and Externality\, The Story of the Bible\nLesson 10 – Completing the Circle and a Spiritual Meal\n\nTotal tuition: $150\nIncludes a $40 textbook you will be using during class\nFinancial aid available for certain situations \n“The Bnei Baruch Kabbalah course answered my deepest questions\, revealed the laws of love and of nature to me\, provided me with a wonderful tool to educate my children with\, and significantly improved my relationships with my loved ones.”\n– Rachel\, Springfield\, Illinois \nMEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:\nGIANNI CONTI \nFor the last 7 years Gianni has been teaching authentic Kabbalah to audiences worldwide. He teaches in live campus courses as well as online\, to beginner\, intermediate and advanced level students. \nWe asked Gianni why he teaches Kabbalah and what Kabbalah adds to his life and told us that\, “There is an indescribable change that occurs in a student – I’ve seen it many times – that upgrades their understanding of life as a whole. It’s as if a few lifetimes of experiences were compressed into months. And this frees a person to a whole new layer of life above all of what seemed before as obstacles. When you know that’s possible you want to share it [the wisdom of Kabbalah] again and again.”
