SUMMARY:Exhibition: Matter - Paintings & Photographs by Takeshi Inoue
DESCRIPTION:CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) では、井上剛志氏による彩色された立体コラージュやモノクロ写真の12の小作品によって構成された個展、“Matter”を開催しております。これらの作品は物質の本質でもある、常に変わらざるを得ない、という特質を反映しており、マチエールが、ひび割れ、朽ち、錆び、焼け、軟化し、硬化し、そして累積することにより生まれ変わり、それによって新たに生じたスペースに未知の何かが入り込む余地をもたらしています。また、時の経過により刻まれた印が偶発的な美の様式を作り出しています。これらのイメージは物質の儚さを観るものに迫るとともに、その美しさにより私たちの中にある普遍的な記憶を蘇らせ、我々が何ものなのかという根源的な問いを私たちに突きつけることになります。 \nこの展覧会は、2019年4月16日から2019年5月28日までの開催となります。 \nStatement\n私の制作はあくまでもプロセス重視で、制作当初から作品の完成像が頭にある、と言うことはまずありません。制作の過程で、色々なアイデアが頭を駆け巡り、それを一つずつ試していくわけですが、それが上手く行くこともあれば、失敗することも当然あります。いずれにせよ、作品がアイデアに基づいているということは間違いないですが、必ずしも特定のアイデアを実現するための手段としての作品がある、と言うわけではありません。制作のかなり部分が、偶然に支配・左右されており、無意識下で蠢いている何かが結実した時、作品が完成した、と言うことになります。制作時に聴いている音楽、観た映画、読んだ本など、様々な影響がありますが、それとともに、日々の生活からのものも多いです。住んでいる国や土地、出会う人々、その人たちと交わす会話、日々感じること、制作時の精神状態など、多様です。そう言った意味では、作品は私そのものでもある、と言えると思います。 \n井上剛志\n埼玉県出身。上智大学卒業。\n英国、スコトッランドのグラスゴー芸術学校にてファイン・アートを専攻。\n現在、ニューヨーク在住。

DESCRIPTION:CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) welcomes back our beloved friend the award-winning singer-songwriter and voice liberation practitioner Neda Boin and inspirational speaker Jeffrey Cosker for the last event of their Freedom of the Mind Tour! Join us for an evening full of miracle stories\, questions & answers\, inspired music\, and voice liberation. \n“Do you want to have freedom of the body or of the mind? For both you cannot have.” \nMany of you will know Neda from our recent Living in the Light Course in Miracles weekend. For those of you who don’t\, she is a singer songwriter from The Netherlands.
