DESCRIPTION:CRSギャラリーでは、写真家として活動する yukko＊による個展「ラブ・プラネット – 植物の愛を世界中に届けよう」を7月7日より8月30日まで開催いたします。yukko＊が撮影してきた様々な植物の写真をご紹介します。 \nオープニング・レセプションは7月7日（土）5時より7時。ライブミュージックも行います。予約不要、入場無料です。皆様のご参加をお待ちしています。 \n写真家yukko＊が、植物の深い慈愛と優しさを世界に伝えるために始めた「ラブ・プラネット・プロジェクト」。\nこのプロジェクトは、yukko＊が撮影してきた様々な植物の写真をポストカードにして人から人への数珠つなぎで送っていくことにより、植物の愛をペイ・フォワードの形で世界中に届けようというもの。\n本写真展では、ポストカードに使用された１６種類の写真を中心に、yukko＊の映しだす植物の写真のオリジナルプリントの他、ポスター、実際のポストカードなどを展示する。すべての写真はフイルムで撮影され、コンピューターによる加工は行われていない。\nラブ・プラネットURL: yukko-web.net/love-planet-project/jp \nアーティスト・ステートメント\n私yukko＊は、幼少の頃からいつも身近に植物を感じていました。\nそのことを特に自覚しているわけではありませんでしたが、ふとしたきっかけで写真を撮り始めるうち、いつしか被写体は自然に植物たち中心になっていきました。植物を撮り続けるうちに、その愛と優しさに満ちた存在を深く感じ、植物たちの愛を写真という「光」で映し出したいと思い始めた私は「あなた（植物）の愛を必要なところへ届けさせてください」という祈りとともに写真を撮るようになりました。\n写真展で、鑑賞者が涙を流す場面に何度も遭遇することにより、その愛の波動が写真から人に伝わることを確信した私は、写真という媒体を使って世界に愛を届けるべくニューヨークCRSでの個展を皮切りに「ラブ・プラネット・プロジェクト」をスタートさせ、世界中に植物の愛を届ける活動を続けています。 \n経歴\n札幌市出身。札幌オリンピックをきっかけに幼少の頃から異文化に興味を持ち、ロンドン大学キングスカレッジに進学。北海道庁で通訳の仕事に就く。８年の通訳者としての経験を通じ、考え方や文化の多様性に触れると同時に日本人独自の精神性についてあらためて気づくようになる。転勤により観光担当になり仕事の一環で写真を撮り始めるうちに写真の魅力に目覚め、さらに写真を撮り重ねるうちに「写真は心を写す」ことを感じていく。\nその後鬱を経験し多くの気づきを得たのち結婚を機に退職、関西在住となり写真家としての活動を始める。\n全国各地で写真展及び写真教室を開催する他、ポートレイト撮影を行っている。ファッションコンサルタント、シンガーでもあり、魂の輝きをサポートする総合アーティストとして活動している。URL: www.yukko-web.net

DESCRIPTION:夏の夜を、心地よい音楽を聴きながらゆったりと過ごしてみませんか？\nCRSで7月からスタートする、Crossing Boundaries コンサート・シリーズ第一回目。「Azelea」とは、Gaminがキュレートする— Echoes of Korea —と名付けられたシリーズです。\n7月27日（金）午後8時より、作曲家 Kiyoung Kim氏の音楽をQuiet Revolution (韓国出身のKiyoung Kim と Gaminによるユニット）の演奏でお楽しみいただけます。 \nKiyoung (claves ＆ voice) と Gamin (saenghwang ＆ piri）は韓国の伝統的音楽にクラッシックとコンテンポラリーを融合させた新しいタイプの音楽で知られています。 \n“Gamin is…a true pioneer and innovator\, leading these instruments in exciting new directions” — Ralph Samuelson (senior advisor\, Asian Cultural Council). \nチケットは当日$25、前日（7/26日）までのご購入は $20 です。オンライン またはお電話（212-677-8621) でどうぞ。学生とシニア (65歳以上) は$15。有効なIDをお持ちください。お席に限りがありますので、事前にチケットの購入をおすすめします。 \nプログラム\nAzalea (saenghwang\, voice)\nCrying angry mountain (piri solo)\nSpeed and Silence (saenghwang\, Claves\, voice)\nAll works are composed or transcribed by Kiyoung. \nアーティスト\nGamin\nGamin is a yisuja of the Important Intangible Cultural Asset No. 46 for piri and daechita. gamin is one of the most celebrated piri\, taepyeongso (Korean traditional oboe family) and saengwhang (ancient wind-blow instrument) performers in Korea today. From 2000 to 2010\, she was a member and assistant principal player of the Contemporary Gukak Orchestra at the National Gukak Center\, the hub for training and preserving Korean traditional music. Today\, she experiments and expands her musical realm to interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with international artists. She was a recipient of residency program grant from the Korean Ministry of Culture\, Sports\, and Tourism and Asian Cultural Council (ACC) of Rockefeller Foundation\, has toured for lecture concerts at Harvard University\, Dartmouth University\, University of Pennsylvania and etc. She received her DMA in traditional music at Seoul National University and published the book “Advanced Techinuqes of PIRI” by Minsokwon\, in Seoul.\n*yisuja is a title designated to someone who mastered a course study in an intangible cultural asset of Korea. jeonsuja is a lower title.\nhttp://www.gamin-music.com/ \nKiyoung Kim\nDubbed a borderless musician\, Kiyoung has moved in and out of Genres and across international boundaries\, while collaborating with dancers\, theater directors\, visual artists in various fields and forms. He is the founder of CMB 567 ( Contemporary Music Band 567)\, a groups of four composers and seven musicians dedicated to exploring the interaction among various contemporary korean and other asian music and art forms. He lives in New York.
