SUMMARY:個展: Archetype-Hidden Memory — Paintings by Lex Braes
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition: Archetype-Hidden Memory — Paintings by Lex Braes \nCRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) \nAll works Courtesy of the Artist\, and Galerie Felix Ringel\, Düsseldorf. This exhibition was organized by CRS staff member Takeshi Inoue. \nRUNES \nScottish painter Lex Braes starts with a thought and an image\, and then reduces that image to a structure of a few lines\, maybe five lines or a single endless line\, like a Celtic knot. With handmade paint on plaster\, linen and here on paper\, he mines a motif that he first found in 2009\, using organic geometry to discover shapes\, creating rhomboids\, parallelograms\, and abstract forms that suggest and reminisce about ancient memories. Some of Braes’s forms recall the keening\, wailing figure of a man on a Greek krater\, seen on a trip to Athens. Others are derived from memories of a reclining female figure. These are indelible memories that sometimes become the joined lines that form two shapes\, an abstract form\, or uplifted arms signaling mourning.\nA series of forms on paper\, incremental grey lines lean slightly\, more ample or less close\, to create a rhythm\, with one smaller form set slightly apart. Another sheet of paper is loaded with forms\, erased by waves of additional colors\, and layered paint. While it appears now to be just a warm grey\, a solid wall of color\, the intimate painting on paper has some extra moisture\, with traces of liquid running down the sheet\, like cleansing rain that is seen through a dirty window. A third painting on paper\, reveals a layered technique where the remaining stroke is a single gesture\, an O form.\nPoignantly marked with ground earth pigments mixed with polymers on prepared paper\, his images are reminders of a fleeting impression as it crosses the painter’s mind. Perhaps that happens once or maybe a hundred times in a day\, and probably too many times in an hour. The thoughts are punctuated with a change of material or surface. His reductive paintings are layered and built up surfaces\, mixing in the ad hoc elements of rain water\, or moldy earth as a new color\, connecting to primal and essential nature with constant reconfiguration\, to end up with the most fragile simplicity. Strong statements\, given in bare minimal colors that remind of earth\, first strokes like cave paintings\, blue water and sky. Using a language only known to him\, yet universal\, Braes draws upon the essential wildness of his native Scotland\, filled with the ancient civilizing and peaceful grounding of Pictish stones\, runic inscriptions and pictograms that channel ancient and universal human emotions.\nThe painter’s daily movement travels between small oil sketches on paper to rounded sculpted forms\, connected to remnants of wood\, or paintings on linen. New drawings of graphite marks emerge from beneath layers and layers of an empty space\, formed by painting around reserved places on the paper\, allowing viewers to peek at an original space of emptiness. Braes captures an essential quality undetected in our daily frenetic lives. He bridges living memory of enduring spirit with a connection from the past.\n— Lisa A. Kevin specializes in voice\, mbira\, kalimba\, shekere\, and a variety of percussion. He approaches music as an experience to be shared by all\, a healing force that can bring people together as one. In this regard\, he is a visionary musician. His approach is creative with whatever musical instrument or path he embarks. At times vocal\, or instrumental with mbira melodies and enchanting dance rhythms\, and at times fiery and percussive\, and all phases in between. He was drawn into music by the magical sound of the mbira\, working with the legendary Zimbabwean mbira master Ephat Mujuru for years. He has continued the mbira/kalimba legacy and works to expand it creatively. He often tours\, performing all over the planet as well as producing a popular music series in NYC (see Afro Roots Tuesdays). He is founding member of several bands including Spirit Ensemble\, Heritage OP\, Harmony Mbira\, Kaleidhaphonic\, Afrika Meets India\, and more. He has worked with a wide variety of artists including Alice Walker\, Oprah Winfrey\, Jonathan Demme\, Thomas Mapfumo\, Miriam Makeba\, Bobby McFerrin\, Niles Rodgers\, Madonna\, Philip Glass\, Nana Vasconcelos\, and on and on. SUMMARY:Neda Boin in Concert: The Light Has Come (music inspired by A Course in Miracles)
DESCRIPTION:CRS presents an evening with the award-winning singer songwriter Neda Boin of the Netherlands\, whose first album\, “The Light Has Come\,” just won Best Album of the Year at the Rotterdam Music Awards. Amazingly\, Neda\, a student of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) for 8+ years\, channeled all the songs on the album in just two weeks\, all inspired from ACIM Workbook lessons\, making it the first album inspired by ACIM to win album of the year. Profoundly spiritual in nature\, the songs are deeply satisfying as songs\, with beautiful and irresistible music colored with soul\, jazz and world music inflections\, brought to soaring life by Neda’s angelic voice.\n“Neda’s music is a way to merge with the Spirit and feel the absolute glory of Divine Love. Her amazing voice enhances the lyrics from Heaven\, and my soul is lifted every time I listen.” — David Hoffmeister\, author of Unwind Your Mind Back to God\nThis concert will take place Friday\, March 29\, 2019 at 7:30 pm at CRS and kicks off the Living in the Light Course in Miracles Weekend\, which will continue throughout the day on March 30 with talks\, workshops\, and healing shared by Neda Boin\, Corinne Zupko (author of From Anxiety to Love)\, CRS Founder Yasuko Kasaki (author of 16 books in Japanese about ACIM)\, and the CRS healers. This will be the first ACIM weekend in NYC since the CMC ACIM Conference in 2015.\nIndividual tickets for the concert as well as for the weekend are available online\, by phone (212-677-8621)\, and at CRS. Concert tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door ($20 at the door for students/seniors with valid ID). \nBuy Concert Tickets!\nSaturday’s program tickets are $120 in advance and $140 at the door ($100 at the door for students/seniors with valid ID). Combined tickets are $140.\nBuy Combined Two-Day Concert/Workshop Tickets!\n \n\n\nIn this concert\, Neda will share many songs with you as well as many helpful parables about her own journey from darkness to light. Before the album was released\, Neda often joked with her friends that she would rename the album to “The Darkness has Come” since there was so much healing taking place before the album fully got recorded. Go to www.nedaboin.com to listen to the album. You’re invited to sing along\, or you can just allow the beautiful words and melodies to wash over you.\n“Those who seek the light are merely covering their eyes\, the light is in them now. Enlightenment is but a recognition\, not a change at all” (W-188.1.2).\nCheck out her mini documentary here to see more about this journey. \n \nABOUT NEDA BOIN\nNeda\, literally meaning ‘Inner Voice’ or ‘Voice for God\,’ discovered her musical talent at a young age. When she was five years old\, she began\, just like her mother who is a professional violin player\, with playing the violin. However\, singing was always her first love. Around the age of thirteen she learned to play the piano and developed a way to express herself by writing her own songs. In 2006 she won a national music contest with one of the first songs that she wrote.\nIn the summer of 2007 she toured through Kenya for orphanages\, schools\, slums and different tribes with a performance about HIV and AIDS. In the summer of 2008 she went to India to investigate child prostitution and give workshops and performances about women’s rights. It was then that she even more so experienced the power and universal language of music.\n“I saw that making music wasn’t a goal for me anymore\, it became a way to connect with people and touch their hearts\,” she says. A few years later she hitchhiked from The Netherlands all the way down to South Africa.\n“The songs I was writing were mostly inspired by the injustice I saw during my travels. They were songs about wanting to change the world.” But when in 2010\, at age 20\, A Course in Miracles came into her life\, she started training her own mind so she could be the example of love and peace she so badly wanted to see outside herself.\nIn 2013 Neda won both the audience and the jury prizes at the Music Matters Awards\, which made her the music ambassador of Rotterdam for one whole year. Shortly after\, she graduated from the music conservatory of Rotterdam with a Bachelor of Music. She successfully released her first EP\, “When Lambs Become Lions\,” in October 2014. She also started giving songwriting workshops in juvenile prison\, which she is currently still doing.\nIn 2015 Neda convinced all four coaches of “The Voice” of Holland to turn their chairs around for her\, and she made it all the way to the last eight contestants.\nLast year she woke up one morning feeling as if she was being pulled towards the piano where the Course Workbook lesson 124 was lying open: “Let me remember I am one with God.” Words and melodies came pouring through her\, and before she knew it\, she had written a complete song with lyrics from that Workbook lesson. The same thing happened everyday for two weeks until she had enough “Course songs” to fill a whole album\, which turned into her debut album\, “The Light Has Come.”\nYou can learn more about Neda Boin on her web site at nedaboin.com.\n+ GOOGLE CALENDAR

And in each moment that the ego temps us\, we make a choice for Spirit again. This moment to moment practice can be facilitated by offering miracles to our brothers. By doing so\, we ultimately recognize our oneness and all that is not true\, including fear and anxiety\, simply dissolves. What is left is pure joy! In this workshop\, participants will learn and experience practical strategies for dissolving fear and living in the light. \nABOUT SPIRITUAL HEALING WITH YASUKO AND CRS HEALERS \nOur healing is based on the Course. ACIM says that salvation occurs when you are with your brother. When you know the truth about your brother\, you will know the truth of who you truly are\, because you will recognize that you and your brother are actually one. Recognizing this truth is the only way to experience peace. Bring any issue you are facing right now — physically\, emotionally\, mentally\, and/or spiritually. With eyes closed (you will be seated and a healer will stand nearby; no touching is involved)\, a CRS healer will observe you with his inner sight\, free of any judgments\, as your truly are\, a perfect shining spirit. Together\, will ask the Holy Spirit (or inner guide if you prefer) to bring us directly to whatever seed thought is causing your current issues and ask for guidance about how your spirit really wants to make use of your present situation for its growth and sharing of love. After about 5 – 10 minutes of meditation together\, we share the inspirational guidance that we receive. \nABOUT VOICE LIBERATION WITH NEDA \nIn voice liberation the voice is used as an instrument to deeply connect with others and with Spirit. The joy of “being sung through” is a truly liberating experience! Throughout this workshop\, our focus will be to “step back and let Him lead the way.” Discovering your inner voice comes from a place of deep surrender and trust. Even if you have no musical background or believe you have no talent\, you will be able to participate in experiential singing and songwriting! Spirit will facilitate emotional healing by guiding you to get in touch with and express your Inner Voice. You will be supported in using your voice as a gateway to allow what is ready to come up to the surface to be released. \n \nABOUT THE PRESENTERS\n\nYasuko Kasaki is an internationally beloved spiritual writer\, counselor\, healer\, lecturer and translator from Tokyo. She is widely recognized as the person most responsible for the spread of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) throughout Japan. In 2004 she founded CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)\, the first and only spiritual center devoted to the teaching and practice of ACIM in New York City. She has taught and worked with thousands of people from around the world to help resolve their mental and physical issues and witness miracles. SUMMARY:Sufi Dance Class with Lâle Sayoko
DESCRIPTION:Learn the ancient practice of meditative whirling known as Sufi dance or Sema (Sama in Iranian). You will learn the techniques of whirling\, but Sema is not about reproducing a certain form or aesthetic. Rather\, the technique serves as a vehicle for inner journeying. Sema means spiritual listening. Together we’ll create a sacred space in which we can safely listen to and share our true selves and experience oneness with the Divine. \nEach class consists of some explanation of the theory and technique\, exercises\, practice whirling\, and sharing and discussion of what you experienced and felt. \nWhirling commonly induces dizziness or nausea. Over time\, through whirling\, we learn to trust ourselves to go off balance\, to be dizzy\, to surrender control. We empty our minds of all thoughts of the individual self as we give ourselves over to prayer and connect with a greater power\, the still center within\, around which we turn. Into this emptiness floods a divine fullness\, which sometimes gives rise to a state known as “mystical intoxication\,” a reflection of knowing and experiencing that you and I and the Divine are One. \nPlease wear comfortable clothing (white\, gray or black color is preferable\, avoiding prints and shiny material which might distract the eye while whirling) and wear socks or soft soled shoes. If you have a whirling skirt and/or a frame drum\, please feel free to bring it. Avoid eating a large meal for two hours prior to class. \n$20 with advance registration\, $25 at the door \nLearn more about Sufi dance:\nhttp://www.ranagorgani.com/10-things-about-sufi-dance/ \nAbout Sufi Dance Instructor Lâle Sayoko \nSayoko was one of the founding members of Japan’s famous Samanyolu professional bellydance group\, and has since developed her own solo career touring with UK’s Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers on a 44 city tour of the UK\, to Turkey’s Baba Zula\, and with New York’s Bella Gaia multimedia Earth from Space journey show. SUMMARY:A Talk by ACIM/Non-Duality/AA Lecturer & Author Paul Hedderman
DESCRIPTION:CRS invites you to a talk by A Course in Miracles teacher and 12-Step guru Paul Hedderman. Paul has been involved with the recovery community since 1988 and has been leading workshops and holding talks for 18 years. He is the author of The Escape To Everywhere. A Zen slap to your mind\, Paul’s unique language and solid presence bespeak the depth of his understanding of the human condition—in which the original addiction is the mind’s addiction to being a self. His message\, that inspires many\, is simple and clear: \nYOU ARE ALREADY THAT WHICH YOU SEEK. \nYou are wholeness itself. The ‘self’ is a ‘parasite’ that claims to be you and once the ‘foreign installment’ is believed\, comes the seeking to get rid of it. \nhttp://www.zenbitchslap.com \nSuggested donation $20 cash at the door (no one turned away!).

SUMMARY:Exhibition: Matter - Paintings & Photographs by Takeshi Inoue
DESCRIPTION:CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)

SUMMARY:Miracles in Manhattan with Dr. Jon Mundy: Indra’s Net of Jewels with special guest Christina Strutt
DESCRIPTION:CRS presents Miracles in Manhattan\, lectures on the teachings of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) and related texts and topics by Jon Mundy\, Ph.D. and occasional guest lecturers\, hosted by CRS Founder Yasuko Kasaki. \nMay’s lecture will explore the topic ”Indra’s Net of Jewels — Going Quantum in a 3-D World” with guest Christina Strutt. Imagine the universe as an infinite net spreading in all directions with no beginning or end. At every node is strung a multi-faceted jewel\, each one reflecting all others in an ever changing cocreative flow. Each jewel a fractal of consciousness\, a living organism; both a microcosm of the whole and inseparable from the whole; both uniquely distinct and essential to the integrity of the net; the whole and the parts in organic unity. This is the Vedic metaphor of Indra’s Net of Jewels\, written in Sanskrit some five thousand years ago. And today\, Quantum Science\, with discoveries like the uncertainty principle and nonlocal entanglement\, seems to be demonstrating the reality of this metaphor. Bring your curiosity\, willingness\, and playfulness – join in as a Jewel in the Net and Go Quantum! \n~ $25 per person with advanced purchase online\, by phone (212-677-8621) or at CRS until the day before the lecture~\n~ $30 per person at the door ~\nAs long as space is available\, “No one is ever turned away who cannot pay.” Contribute what you can. \nThe lectures are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month (but 1st Sunday in May). \nAlthough we would\, of course\, prefer to share with you in class\, Miracles in Manhattan classes are now also being offered via life-streaming (technology allowing) for those who cannot attend the class in-person. The day of the class\, go to our YouTube Channel:\nhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwxH3nWSMFDGA1SiR9kAbeg\nand choose the live-streaming button. If it’s not there\, it means there are technical difficulties\, but it should still be posted here about a week later. \nDr. Jon Mundy is an author\, lecturer\, the publisher of Miracles magazine\, and the Executive Director of All Faiths Seminary International in New York City. He met Dr. Helen Schucman\, the scribe for A Course in Miracles\, in 1973. Helen introduced Jon to the Course and served as his mentor and guide till she became ill in 1980. He is the author of Living A Course in Miracles\, which is now available in eight languages. After Return to Love by Marianne Williamson\, it is currently the best-selling book based on the teaching of A Course in Miracles. He taught courses in Philosophy and Religion from 1967 to 2008 at the New School University and the State University of New York with a specialization in The History of Mysticism. He is the author of 12 books\, his most recent being A Course in Mysticism and Miracles published by Red Wheel Weiser. drjonmundy.com www.miraclesmagazine.org \nChristina Strutt is devoted to living and expressing love in form – each moment wholeheartedly and intentionally joining in cocreating joy\, abundance\, harmony\, and clarity as best she can wherever she isand whomever she is with. She was born in Malaysia and spent her most formative years in the egalitarian\, then newly independent Republic of Singapore surrounded by diverse cultures and faiths. At age eighteen\, she left Singapore to study Computer Science in the UK where she lived and worked for ten years before moving to the US in 1980. When invited\, she enjoys sharing her current questions and answers which reflect her years of lived experience\, including forty-five as a Systems Engineer/Systems Thinker\, twenty-six living A Course in Miracles\, and ten living A Course of Love. Her greatest delight lies in discovering ever more expansiveand inclusive\, yet practical answers\, which she has noticed seem to arrive in perfect timing as her ability to live them grows to match her willingness. Since 2010\, she has also shared her unique synthesis of experience through her practice – CoCreating Clarity. Her most valuable and practical experiences are distilled and shared at www.CoCreatingClarity.org. Enjoy insights inspired by her 2019 call to all willing hearts – ‘Indra’s Net of Jewels: Going Quantum in a 3D World’ – and join the ongoing dialogue at https://www.facebook.com/CCCSelf/ \nYasuko KasakiMiracles in Manhattan host Yasuko Kasaki is an internationally beloved spiritual writer\, counselor\, healer\, lecturer and translator from Tokyo\, Japan. The founder of CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)\, the first and only spiritual center devoted to the teaching and practice of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) in New York City\, she is widely recognized as the person most responsible for the spread of ACIM throughout Japan. She has taught and worked with thousands of people from around the world to help resolve their mental and physical issues and witness miracles. SUMMARY:Freedom of the Mind Concert & Talk with Vocalist Neda Boin & Inspirational Speaker Jeffrey Cosker
DESCRIPTION:CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) welcomes back our beloved friend the award-winning singer-songwriter and voice liberation practitioner Neda Boin and inspirational speaker Jeffrey Cosker for the last event of their Freedom of the Mind Tour! Join us for an evening full of miracle stories\, questions & answers\, inspired music\, and voice liberation. \n“Do you want to have freedom of the body or of the mind? For both you cannot have.” \nMany of you will know Neda from our recent Living in the Light Course in Miracles weekend. For those of you who don’t\, she is a singer songwriter from The Netherlands. Her recently released record “The Light Has Come\,” was named Best Album of the Year at the Rotterdam Music Awards. Amazingly\, Neda\, a student of A Course in Miracles (ACIM) for 8+ years\, channeled all the songs on the album in just two weeks\, all inspired from ACIM Workbook lessons\, making it the first album inspired by ACIM to win album of the year. Profoundly spiritual in nature\, the songs are deeply satisfying as songs\, with beautiful and irresistible music colored with soul\, jazz and world music inflections\, brought to soaring life by Neda’s angelic voice. \n“Neda’s music is a way to merge with the Spirit and feel the absolute glory of Divine Love. Her amazing voice enhances the lyrics from Heaven\, and my soul is lifted every time I listen.” — David Hoffmeister\, author of Unwind Your Mind Back to God\nJeffrey lived the life of “having it all” and still felt like the world couldn’t give him what he needed. After a revelatory experience as a result of a moment of surrender in the program of recovery he found the Course in Miracles and completely turned his life over to following the direction of Spirit. He is now living a life devoted to forgiveness. His experiences in life\, lightheartedness\, and total commitment to Awakening allow people from all different backgrounds to experience a safety to open up with him. With a deep passion for mind training\, strong focus\, and determination to see things differently\, Jeffrey is a beautiful demonstration of the transformation that happens when you turn your life over to a higher purpose.\nThese two mighty companions came together to join for a beautiful tour\, with the intention of finding freedom within themselves instead of in the world. Join them for an evening never to forget! \nTickets are available online\, by phone (212-677-8621)\, and at CRS. Concert tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door ($20 at the door for students/seniors with valid ID). \n\nNeda also developed a way to use the voice to facilitate the forgiveness practice that the Course teaches in a very deep way. It’s a unique way to use your voice to instantly go to the wound\, express it through sound and then release it in a very liberating way. You can learn more about Neda Boin on her web site at nedaboin.com.\nVoice Liberation Testimonials:\n“We laughed together\, we cried together\, we sang together\, and we prayed together. I truly felt that each member of the workshop was my spiritual brother and sister and I felt enveloped in oneness with a loving God. If you are tired of reading books about spirituality\, come to this workshop and get a taste of the real thing.” – Elisabeth\n“I would like to write my testimonial\, but I just cry and cry and cry when I think about it. Tears of gratitude.” – Laura\n“I experienced what seemed like a true heart opening where it actually felt like my heart cracked open and many tears flowed. I don’t have words for this experience except that it felt like a profound healing.” – Marti

SUMMARY:Voice Liberation Workshop with Neda Boin
DESCRIPTION:Use your voice to liberate your soul!\nCRS welcomes back Netherlands-based singer-songwriter\, spiritual guide and Voice Liberation facilitator Neda Boin for a Voice Liberation workshop. \nVoice liberation is a unique way where the voice is used to facilitate deep spiritual healing. Weather you belief you’re a great singer or not\, using your voice has the powerful ability to instantly bring up the root of our seeming problems\, which are the false thoughts we believe about ourselves; ‘I’m not good enough’\, ‘I don’t deserve love’\, ‘I’m on my own’\, ‘nobody truly cares about me’\, etc. Neda intuitively guides us to allow these beliefs to come up to the surface\, so that they can be seen and heard and so that we can unwind ourselves from these false beliefs and re-discover who we really are. \nThe workshop will take place on Saturday\, May 18\, 2019 from 1 – 5:30 pm in the award-winning White Room at CRS (named by Homes to Love as one of nine yoga studios around the world “that achieve design nirvana”) and costs $100 with advance registration and $120 at the door. \nNeda’s first album\, “The Light Has Come\,” inspired by the A Course in Miracles (ACIM) Workbook lessons\, was named Best Album of the Year at the Rotterdam Music Awards. She is now touring the U.S.\, sharing her songs and stories\, bringing people together through music to bring us all home. She will also be performing and trading spiritual stories with inspirational speaker Jeffrey Cosker at CRS on Saturday\, May 11\, 2019 from 7 – 9pm. \nVoice liberation is not about singing beautifully\, even though when singing from a deep place within yourself where only Love abides\, it is inevitable that your voice will touch many hearts… Spirit will facilitate emotional healing by guiding you to get in touch with and express your Inner Voice. You will be supported in using your voice as a gateway to allow what is ready to come up to the surface to be released. If you’re ready for a miraculous trip that will lead you out of ‘the rabbit-hole\,’ this is it! \nTake a look here to get an impression of one of the voice liberation retreats:\n \nNeda Boin is a singer songwriter from Rotterdam in The Netherlands. In 2013 Neda won both the audience and the jury prizes at the Music Matters Awards\, which made her the music ambassador of Rotterdam for one whole year. Shortly after\, she graduated from the music conservatory of Rotterdam with a Bachelor of Music. She successfully released her first EP\, “When Lambs Become Lions\,” in October 2014. She also started giving songwriting workshops in juvenile prison\, which she is currently still doing. In 2015 Neda convinced all four coaches of “The Voice” of Holland to turn their chairs around for her\, and she made it all the way to the last eight contestants. A student of A Course in Miracles for 8+ years\, she channeled her latest album\, “The Light Has Come” over a period of two weeks in 2018. Lyrics for each of the songs were inspired by ACIM Workbook lessons. Profoundly spiritual in nature\, the songs are also deeply satisfying as songs\, with beautiful and irresistible music colored with soul\, jazz and world music inflections\, brought to soaring life by Neda’s angelic voice\, and the album went on to win Album of the Year at the Rotterdamn Music Awards! Neda has lately been using her Course experiences and musical gifts to teach Voice Liberation workshops at David Hoffmeister’s Living Miracles Monastery and elsewhere. nedaboin.com \n\nNeda’s own journey with Voice Liberation in her own words:\nI’ve always been singing with al of my heart and soul. But when in 2012 I started my second year in the conservatory of music in Rotterdam\, it felt as though that deep liberating feeling I used to feel when singing as a kid\, was blocked. I was focused on singing perfectly\, on doing it ‘right’. It felt very confusing for me to not have singing feel connected to pure joy anymore and I even thought about dropping out of the conservatory. I wanted to sing freely again\, from love\, from a place of peace where I could just be sung through\, instead of trying so hard. I wanted to find and give expression to my inner voice! \nAs out of heaven\, the ‘Voice liberation academy’ by Jan Kortie\, ‘Ode an die freude’ (named after Bethoven’s 9th symphony\, meaning ‘Ode to joy!) came on my path and I finished my two remaining years of conservatory at the same time as the voice liberation academy. Voice liberation gave me back my joy and effortlessness in singing. It brought me back in touch with my true Inner Voice and helped me open up to sing from a very vulnerable and honest place. \nI never went into the voice liberation academy with the thought I’d be leading voice liberation sessions and retreats myself. I went in to free my own voice\, and to be free while performing! Yet\, Spirit clearly had more in store! In the spring of 2017\, I all of the sudden felt strongly prompted to let David Hoffmeister know that I felt I was supposed to give voice liberation sessions at his one month Tabula Rasa retreat. He was all in for it and I was amazed to feel how easily Spirit was working through me\, using the tools of voice liberation to facilitate deep healing. \nSince then\, I’ve been asked for many more retreats and group sessions all over the world. \nABOUT CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing)\nCRS is a healing and art center founded in 2004 by the Japanese spiritual writer/counselor/lecturer Yasuko Kasaki and her students. It is the first and only center in New York City devoted to the study and practice of A Course in Miracles. Everyone has something precious to give. Our mission is to help you to discover\, develop\, and use your gift\, and to appreciate the joy of sharing it. ACIM says that salvation occurs when you are with your brother. When you know the truth about your brother\, you will know the truth of who you truly are\, because you will recognize that you and your brother are actually one. We offer support to those who bear witness to the truth\, which is something that everyone is capable of doing and sharing.
