DESCRIPTION:CRSギャラリーでは「One Art One Spirit (一音一絵)」と題しまして、写真・Chakkiri 、パステル画・ Sakurako Kataoka、 塩絵・ Senko Nishimura、 リサイクル布アート・Saco Yasuma によるグループ展を5月11日から6月6日まで開催いたします。 \n初日、5月11日（金）午後8 – 9時には Kevin Nathanial and Tomchess によるコンサート、6月4日（月）午後12 – 7時には4人のアーティストも愛用する自然派洋服店・USAATOの直営販売、午後7 – 9時からは4人のアーティスト（Sakurako Kataoka & Chakkiriのデュエットあり！）によるコンサート＆レセプションを予定しています。予約不要、無料イベントですので、どなたでもご参加いただけます。 \nアーティストステイトメント \n誰の中にもアーティストがいる。実は誰もがアーティスト！ \n「自分もアートを創っていいのだ」と、自分に許可を出す勇気と、サポートしあえる安全な環境さえあれば、眠っていたものが溢れ出してくる。 \nBe Inspired\, Be Creative\, Accept Ourselves\, and Enjoy!\nもっとクリエイティブに、そのままの自分を受け入れて、楽しもう！ \nこのグループ展は、ちょっといつものCRSの展示とは趣が違います。なぜなら、メンバーの誰もがいわゆる「プロのビジュアルアーティスト」ではないからです。 \nわたしたちは、ひとりでも多くの人に、自分がアートすることに対する心の壁を取り払ってほしかったのです。古い枠や常識を飛び出して、みんなの中で眠っているそれぞれのアーティストを目覚めさせて欲しかったのです。だってその方が楽しいし、心にもいいから。自分が好きなことを心底楽しんでいると、それだけで幸せは広がり増幅していくのだなということを私たちは何度も体験しました。だから、あえて今のわたしたちのままで、皆さまにも見ていただくことにしたのです。 \nレセプションでは、私たちの姉妹グループであるOne Note One Spirit\, 一音一会が、おいでくださった皆さまが安心して音を奏でられる場をクリエイトします。この展示では、ひとりでも多くの方々が、日々の生活の中で、ご自分が創り手としてアートや音楽を楽しむことで、より楽しく幸せになる何らかのきっかけになってもらえたらと思っています。

DESCRIPTION:CRSギャラリーでは、詩人、ビジュアル・アーティストとして活動する山本テオによる個展「CODE – 絵のような詩のような絵 -」を6月9日より7月5日まで開催いたします。\nタイトル通り＜詩を書くように絵を描く＞というプロセスにフォーカスしたビジュアル・ポエトリー、オフジェなどの作品をご紹介します。 \nオープニング・レセプションは6月9日（土）6時より8時。詩の朗読などパフォーマンスも行います。予約不要、入場無料です。皆様のご参加をお待ちしています。 \nArtist Statement: \n私は詩人であり画家である。子供の頃から普通のことのように、まるで独り言を言うように、絵を描いていた。 \n私は「点」に興味があり、点はつながるとやがて「線」となる。線はさらに私を引きつける。目に映る世界はすべて線でできているということに、いつも感心している。線は直線であったり曲線であったりするわけだが、それらは必ず交差し、混じり合い、形を作り出す。幾何学的な姿でオブジェクトを形成する。 \nこうしたオブジェクトは意識の中で、大きさを変え、距離を変え、浮遊のスピードさえ変えて浮かんでは、通り過ぎ、消え、また現れてはピタリと止まっている。それらは私に何かしらを語りかける暗号だ。 \n動物、植物、石や雲など自然への関心と憧れは、私が絵を描く動機である。\n同様に摩天楼、煉瓦のビル、石造りの教会、何気ない民家、船、道路など、人工的なものへの驚きと尊敬は尽きない。 \n長い間、詩を書いてきた私は、2007年頃からビジュアル・ポエトリーも創るようになった。その経験を重ねるうち、まるで詩を書くのと同じ方法で絵を描くことができることを発見した。私はマインドの中に視線を向ける。すると、さまざまなオブジェクトが暗号のように簡素化され、意味を隠し、空間に身を潜めると、自在に配置された詩的世界が現れる。 \n作品をどのような視点で見て、何を感じるか、その鍵は絵を見る人のポケットの中にあると思う。絵を見ることによって自由な詩的体験を楽しんでもらえたなら、と私は願っている。 \nConcept: \n線画のみならず、オブジェ、ニューヨークなどの景色を幾何学的に捉えた写真、ビンテージの缶を使った持ち運び可能なポータブル・アートなど、様々なメディアで表現するビジュアル詩を紹介する。\n前回のCRS Galleryでの個展から7年。フランス、イタリア、ドイツ、日本など海外で詩人としてビジュアル・アーティストとして経験したアートのきらめきをひとつにまとめた展示といえる。 \nBio: \n1988年からニューヨーク市、マンハッタン在住。日本生まれ。ビジュアル・アーティスト、詩人。\n『CODE〜絵のような詩のような絵』は、2011年から現在まで進行中のシリーズで、タイトル通り＜詩を書くように絵を描く＞というプロセスにフォーカスしている。このシリーズの個展はニューヨーク、パリ、東京、大阪などで開いてきた。ビジュアル・ポエトリー、オフジェなどの作品で、グループ展にも参加している。\n詩人としては、『走る神』、『青鬼草』、詩とドローイングを合わせ日英バイリンガルで書かれた『普通の明日』『尻尾笑傳』などの詩集を出版している。音楽とともに詩の朗読パフォーマンスも行う。 \nhttp://teoyamamoto.com
