Shimizu, Kaori Wilson, and Rie Okamura. Amareen means two beautiful moons in Arabic and is often used in Arabic songs to refer to the relationship between the moon in the sky and the second moon, one’s lover. For this concert, the title Amareen was chosen to symbolize also the dancers’ love for dance itself.
