The key lifestyle strategies to keep your brain sharp

  • Did you know that only 1-2% of Alzheimer’s dementia is inherited?
  • 1 in 3 cases of dementia could be prevented with strategic lifestyle changes, research shows.

This workshop will introduce the most significant lifestyle strategies that decrease your risk for brain disease. Learn the most effective tools to strengthen your brain for later in life. Understand how to boost the major factors that affect brain health and performance, including diet, fitness, smoking, education, hearing loss, social engagements and other lifestyle factors.

The workshop is co-presented by neurologist Sonja Blum and nutritionist and fitness expert Ariane Hundt.

Sonja is a memory disorders and dementias specialist. She completed her neurology training and cognitive neurology fellowship at Columbia University in New York and is in private practice in Manhattan.

Ariane is a clinical nutrition coach and fitness expert. For years she has been helping her clients maximize their fitness and health through workouts, nutrition education and mindset coaching. She specializes in restorative nutrition, metabolic issues and performance nutrition and is in private practice in Manhattan.

Cost: $25 with early-sign-up. $35 at the door.
