日本生まれ、祖父から書道を習って育つ。水の星座の一つ、蟹座生まれ、いつも川や海に惹かれていた。初めて海の波を見た時、波の動きや絶え間なく変わっていく色に恋に落ちる。2004年ニューヨークにて、海と版画の関係性を発見し、版画制作を始める。それ以降は、海の色の変化や光、波の動きを作品に表現していくことを探求している。
