CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) invites you to join the now Maui-based jazz vocalist Naoko Tsumoto for a glass of wine and a rare and intimate solo set, love ballads for the city she was with for 20 years. Suggested donation $20.
Naoko Tsumoto was born in Kobe, Japan. She began her career as a jazz singer as soon as she graduated college, performing constantly at major hotels and clubs in Japan. Since moving to NYC in March of 1994, she has continued to perform here and in Japan at clubs such as Blue Note NY, Sugar Bar, etc. 
In the ensuing years, she became vegetarian, adopted a holistic way of life, and studied cooking at a natural gourmet cookery school, etc. She will open her own farm and guesthouse called NaoLani in upcountry Maui island, Hawaii later in September 2014. There, she plans to continue to share her own style of art, music, dance and healthy living. At NaoLani, her beautiful, vintage NY Steinway piano will welcome guests from all over the world.
